Last year was pretty difficult for Joe and I but we made it through, and are ready to start clean. We have been playing a new game called Dragon Quest IX for the Nintendo DS, which I will be writing guides on in the near future. I have found that since this is such a new game, there is no information out there on the internet. This game is very popular in Japan; it has over 4 million copies sold there and they have a population of 130 million! I find that to be crazy that 1 in 20 people in Japan own this game. If you are looking for more information about Dragon Quest that I do not have, you should check out www.JoeMajewski.com. There you will find a variety of useful information for Dragon Quest and other various video games and computer programming knowledge.
I’m sorry its been so long since I have made a post here. I hope I can keep up with my blog, school, and my job all at the same time, which has proven hard sometimes. I have been spending most of my free time playing Dragon Quest IX, so I have a feeling that many of my posts after this will be on that subject. If you haven’t purchases this game yet, you should get in your car (or bicycle) and head to your nearest store and get it! It is the greatest RPG I have ever played, and I am usually not the biggest fan of them. I have been playing the game for over 60 hours already, and I am not stopping anytime soon.

I haven’t written a post in a while, I have been so busy with school and trying to find a job that I haven’t had time to update my site. I have been watching the T.V show “The Office” whenever I have free time. We have DVR and I record the show whenever I see it is on. I love the humor of the show, there are so many different characters all with their own jokes. My favorite character has to be Dwight K. Schrute. He is the awkward character that does not like anybody in the office. He has a rivalry going on with his co-worker Jim. Jim always plays pranks on Dwight.
As everybody probably knows the new Super Mario Brothers for the Wii is coming out tomorrow November 15th. My fiance Joe and I are going to try to get it at midnight tonight. It is the first two player Super Mario Brothers game. I don’t know too much of the details yet, but I am definitely going to write a post about it after playing it.

I have started playing the new Kingdom Hearts game for the DS and I can’t put it down! I have over five hours of playtime already, and I still haven’t seen a Disney character. This is the first Kingdom Hearts game that I have played so I’m not sure if this is how every game is. This game has a great storyline with many memorable characters, each with their own unique personality. You get to choose from three difficulty levels to play story mode in. I picked the hardest level. If this is too hard, I can lower the level, but I couldn’t go from easy to harder mode. This is a great option they added to this game so it can be for gamers of all ages. I definitely recommend this game to everybody who loves a good RPG.

When I first heard there was a new Wii Fit coming out I was really excited, because I enjoyed the first one so much. Plus this one was only $20! If you owned the first one, it automatically puts everybody’s statistics from the first Wii Fit. There are so many new fitness games on this new game, and it still has the old ones too. There are Wii Fit pre-made routines and you can create your own routines. After every exercise, it tells you how many calories you have burned. I really like this part. You even can pick what food you ate today, and try to lose the amount of calories that was. Nintendo has done it again. They have made another game that makes exercising fun!

I am currently a Junior at Northern Illinois University. My major is Elementary Education with an endorsement in Middle School Science and Social Studies. I began designing games a little more than a year ago just for fun on NFreak.net. My fiance wanted to create a game that required a lot of images, and I surprised myself with how good I was at creating avatars, enemies, equipment, and items. I really enjoy being able to see the final product after a lot of work towards making a game. I am really excited to start working on our flash based game. We finally came up with a name for the game. It is called “Planet Yook”. I don’t want to go into the details of the game too much; I will save that for another post.

This is my personal blog which I will be using to document many of my hobbies, which include videogames, movies, web design, and other things which I believe to be both interesting and useful to others. My first experience with web design was on landofcamelot.nfreak.net. I created hundreds of images for the site using Microsoft Paint. My fiance, Joe Majewski, programmed the game, along with all of the other games on the site. We allowed members to create their character upon registration, customizing their appearance, clothing, and weaponry. The images that I created were layered together with transparencies to create the final avatar. This figure amounted to millions of different possible combinations for unique characters. We are now working on a Flash-based game called Planet Yook. This will be a great way to help me learn how to better design, while also creating a fun game.
